FCP 7 – a simple export of shot list from sequence into Excel?
OK, so I know this has been an issue for quite some time: the ability to take a FCP sequence and export a shot list that has sequential named clips and has TC in/out. Right now, just need to be able to export from FCP 7 into Excel a basic sheet of sequential information (name of clip, TC in/out from sequence) in order to start an Excel sheet for E&O vetting, etc. I don’t want to pay $100 for Sequence Clip Reporter (and not sure if that will work) and been through some strange XML programs that didn’t work. This should be a simple process from a nearly done FCP sequence, no? Any suggestions/ideas much appreciated.

you could start by exporting an EDL, and including clip names
then see what you can wrangle out of the EDL.
