FCP 6.06 & m2t files
Sorry this has been addressed before but I have a new wrinkle. Without knowing beforehand FCP’s lack of support for M2T files I hooked up my Sony MRC1 recording device and transferred my clips to an external firewire drive. FCP digested the files with no problem via Log & Transfer.
A few days have gone by and I realized I had not transferred all of the clips from my drive. Now when I try to access the clips FCP will not recognize them. I tried both with the files on the external drive and with the original files on the CF card in the MRC1. I also downloaded the Sony plugin and that didn’t affect anything.
Any ideas on why FCP would import these clips a couple of days ago and now will not? I doubt it’s a ghost in the machine but cannot think of any changes I have made in the workflow that would’ve changed anything.
