Hello all…I am having trouble recording my finished piece to tape. I have my deck hooked up by firewire and I can capture media without a problem…but it doesn’t seem to work going the other way. What kind of settings and such should I look for to get this to work.

    Thanks,

HDV right? PRINT TO VIDEO, and letting it conform for a while is the only way you can.

What’s strange is that it doesn’t re-render anything before it goes to “Print to Tape” mode. Is something not checked in one of the boxes?

I’m still having problems…anyone else have any suggestions? It is going to HDV.

    Thanks,

What SPECIFICALLY isn’t working? YOu are doing PRINT TO VIDEO and waiting for it to conform and then…what?

I have seen and read where the squence goes through another render process before it is laid to tape. But when I click print to video, the screen goes black, tells me to hit recored on the tape deck and it ok. I do that…but when I check the tape after record…nothing. Is there anything else in the menus or whatnot that I need to check. As I said, I can bring video in through firewire, so I know that is hooked up right. Just a little confused…that’s all.

    Thanks for the help.
