FCP 6 Preferences to FCP 7?
Hi folks…
I’m running FCP 6 on computer A. I’m installing FCP 7 on brand new computer B, no upgrade. I want to use my current FCP 6 preferences on the new machine. Is there any way to do that? Will FCP 7 recognize my FCP 6 Pref files?thanks!

Interesting. I would tend to think no, but I don’t think it would hurt to try, you might get lucky. One difference is that it has to be called “Final Cut Pro 7.0 Prefs”. The other file names seem to be the same. If it doesn’t work, you could just delete them and you have your answer. Good luck.
