FCP 6 or FCP 6 Extreme?
Posted by Blub06 on February 22, 2007 at 8:41 pmIf I upgrade to FCP 6 Extreme rather then just FCP 6 will I still be able to use 6Extream with out the new FCP6 Extreme card, and upgrade to the card later?

What in the world are you talking about? FCP 6 does not exist. Are you reading rumor sites about this? The same rumor sites that said FCP 6 was going to debut at NAB 2006?

I thought it was the Apple site but it was in fact a rumored site.
This whole internet thing has got me confused.

February 22, 2007 at 10:17 pmIn early tests attempting to install 6X without the card fried your computer processor. Hopefully that will be reduced to a more benign error message when the product ships.
All the best,

FCP Extreme. As in “for all you X-Treme folks out there, here’s an application you can really dig. It might crash now, it might crash later. It might work for a week, it might work for a day. Here’s that powerful app that will keep your game face on.
Oh, there goes Bob! He didn’t back up his project and now it won’t open. Rock On! Jennie just applied Title 3D and got an Unexpected Quit! What’s that? No AutoSave? Jennie goes down in flames.
If you think FCP 5.1.3 is great, wait till you take your editing experience to the X-Treme! For those of you who like to cut your projects On The Edge!

But Stu, what good is it going to do you with only 4.5 MB of Ram :-)Your Quad Core must be working over time to keep up with the lack of ram …..just kidding.
50 days till we see FCP 6 in all it’s glory and the new Kona Extreme card…oops.
