FCP 6 no longer recognizes my camera but iMovie recognizes cameras
I have read many posts. My question will sound like a repetition (forgive me if it is). But I do not think it is. Dozens of times FCP 6 has recognized my cameras. HD went bad. I had to re-install FCP. Now, FCP does not recognize the cameras. BUT iMovie recognizes the cameras (and I can import into iMovie which I did as an experiment). So the computer, my firewire, and my HD are fine. What can I do? Thank you in advance. I suppose I can re-install FCP. But how? Can I reinstall and avoid reinstalling the entire Final Cut Studio 2 package?
