FCP 6 install disc will not load.
So I have had some issues the past few weeks that have taken me to the point of needed to reinstall my FCP 6. I have the original discs and had planned on reinstalling it FCP 6 from them. Only problem is every time I stick the FCP 6 install disc into the drive the drive will ingest it, think then spit it out. Not sure where I should go from here I have tried other discs and they work fine. I looked around for a FCP 6 legal download so I could then input my S/N but cannot find one. Any help would be great.

It may be a problem with the disc or may be a problem with your Mac driver.
Try to copy the disc on other Mac.

I have two disc drive and have tried the install disc in both. I do not have another mac at work to try and copy it over but I might take it home and try to copy the disc there.

Update: I was showing one of the IT guys at my work how the disc would not read, and well it started working. I did not change anything or do anything different the disc just started to read. Not sure what was going which bugs me, but I am glad it’s working now.
