  FCP 6 – Consolidation Issues

  I’m having issues with a project using FCP 6… I’ve been working on a doco and have consolidated down the project…

  Now more times than not when I open the project I’ve lost my render links… what’s even more weird is that most times it
  shows me a blue rendered bar but when you hit playback it displays needs rendering…

  Also if I try and reconnect the media it wants to reconnect to the original media not the rendered media…

  All very frustrating as I’m trying to close this doco off…

  It was shot 1080i using P2.. ingested by various versions of FCP over the past 12mths… there’s about 4 terabytes of raw material
  that’s consolidated to a couple of 100 gigs..

  Anybody else having these issues…

  PS have updated all my software.. G5 Dual 2.5 ..4 gigs ram.. 750gigs + 250GB SATA
