    Does anyone know of a FCP 5.1.4/QT/OS version compatibility chart? My system runs great, just wanted to know if I can update my OS or QT?

    FCP 5.1.4
    QT 7.1.5
    OS 10.4.8

    Stick with what you have. The optimal QT version would be 7.1.6, but Apple no longer offers that. But 7.1.5 is stable too. I used 5.1.4 with QT 7.1.3 and OS 10.4.7 for a long time.

    If it’s working…don’t mess with it. DO NOT update to QT 7.3. You gain nothing but possible headaches.
