Shows you just HOW broken FCP 5.1.3 really was. I’ve NEVER seen Apple release an update so fast.

Boris Red transitions are still MIA. Some of the generators are also not present when I select Boris Red Generator. How long will it be until Apple fixes Boris Red as a plugin to FCP? I purchased Red to cover some of the things lacking in FCP but now I can’t use it as a plugin. It does work as a standalone but it isn’t a plugin currently. It’s more like a crash the application device.

can you bypass 5.1.3 all together and go straight to 5.1.4?

Well, Apple still haven’t solved the JVC HD-100 24/25 fps capture problems!!
In 25fps mode I still get slow responce to the controls in the capture window, captured footage is still broken up into smaller chunks, and I still get the odd ‘lost data’ dialogue box popping up.
I 24fps mode I’m unable to capture anything….and I’m not the only one!!Dave

I guess I’ll get to see if this fixed the reconnect problems I’ve been having since updating to 5.1.3 on Intel. I had a large project completely lose references to a couple dozen clips after we brought the project forward from a Power PC 5.1.2 setup.
