I need advice on how to move a FCP project to Media 100 producer. I have never moved a project from one system to another. I started a project in FCP before I bought producer. The FCP project has a great many Illustrator graphics and text, and it looks awful and jagged. I have always used Media 100 with great success in the graphics department and thought moving this project to Media 100 would help.

    I appreciate the help.

A guess: was the FCP project done in DV? Producer will reinterpret DV-size (480 line) images as 486 lines and the scaling can cause jaggies. You might have to resize the artwork (by adding a few black lines at top and bottom, for example). Or try re-importing the images with different import settings (using the DV codec maybe?).

SoftHarbor poses and interesting theory. You could check the frame size of the footage in QTPro’s Get Info window before and after bringing it into M100 to see if he’s onto something.
