  FCP 5.1.4, Black Magic Multibridge, DVCPro100 codec.- No real time playback

  I have a quad g-5, fcp5.1.4, Black Magic Multibridge, dual fiber channel storage and a JVC HDV deck.

  I’ve captured JVC 23.98 footage using the multibridge to go to analog RGB HD, DVCPro 100 (to get true frames and timecode).

  The capture looked great, batch captured fine, TC, etc…

  NOW, when I open a clip or drag one to the timeline, it doesn’t play visually (freeze frame), although the timeline cursor advances- and when I scrub the timeline, you can see that the frames are there.

  I digitized this way:
  Seq. Preset:BMD HDTV 720p 23.98-DVCPro HD
  Cap. preset: BMD 720p 23.98 DVCPro HD

  I’ve tried a TON of playback options and nothing seems to work.

  Did I digitze incorrectly?

  Does anyone know if there is a table existing for the FCP editor/BOB settings?

  My brain is fried!
