FCP 5.0.4 compatible with Intel MacBooks?
I just bought a 2.2 GHz MacBook Pro, but I’m having some problems – FCP 5.0.4 wont quit properly – its windows close, but the little arrow in the dock next to its icon doesn’t disappear. So I can’t re-launch FCP. Is there a compatibility problem?

Probably. FCP 5.1 was the first Universal version of Final Cut Pro, as in it works on PPC and Intel machines. You’ll need to upgrade your FCP in order to get reliable performance on the intel machine.
