    Quick Question
I’ve imported about 80 (720×480) Tiff files edited into Timeline with simple Wipes.
#1 Playback Quality before and after renders stink even tho all settings are set to High or Full.
#2 I am getting a Shift before and after each wipe
    (Fields set to None)
I tried Setting codec to Tiff instead of DV but than I can’t playback timeline without dropouts.

    Any thoughts,

PS: I did this in FCP 4.5 and didn’t have this problem.

    Hmmm.

They are probably not fully rendered.
Go to the render setting and select all of the render options for video. Even the green ones. Render all video and it will be smooth.

What were your Sequence settings at?

Because they don’t look good on my Monitor.
Also my Tiffs have white titles on Blue Bkgrd. with bars & Charts
I’m getting a lot of ringing & moire around White.
and some break up of type.

    Thanx,
    JimR
