fcp 5.0 audio, clicking sound in songs.
in a documentary that i am editing every song has a clicking sound that is really noticeable in the fade begining and end of each song. i would love to learn how to fix this annoying problem.

What kind of audio files are you using.
FCP is not compatible with mp3 files.

Also, be sure that you are monitoring sound (and picture) through your DV Deck and NOT the Mac.

you need all of the songs to be in AIFF/AIFC Format

AIFF…as well as 48000 instead of 44100 which is what CD audio is. If your sequence settings are set to 48 and your audio is 441 you’ll hear the pops you’re describing
