FCP 5 to Soundtrack Pro
Posted by Henryfelt on May 28, 2005 at 3:13 pmIf I choose an audio clip and try to ‘send to’ Soundtrack Pro, I get a ‘SP script’ that goes nowhere. Do I have to copy/paste into SP to use it?

May 28, 2005 at 3:41 pmSomething’s not right. Are you going to STP audio file project or multitrack project? Does STP run properly when you start it up?

May 28, 2005 at 3:50 pmthanks Tom,
yes STP works fine by itself, but doesn’t seem to be linked to FCP5 -

May 28, 2005 at 4:02 pmIs there something unusual about the audio file. I can’t make happen what you describe. It just launches the application and opens the type of project I called up. The app is in the usual place I presume.

I kept trying to send it from the viewer, not the time line. It’s fine now.
Thanks -

May 28, 2005 at 4:47 pmYes, you can only Send to STP a sequence from the browser, or a clip or clips from the timeline to either audio file or multiple clips to multitrack. You can’t send from the viewer or a clip from the browser, or the active timeline unless items are selected. Nor can you send In to Outs.
