  FCP 5 Support

  Sony Z7U not showing up in FCP 5 HDV capture.

  I’m running a MAC G5 dual 2.7 OSX 10.4.1 with 250 gig internal and 1 TB external LaCie eSATA Raid.

  This problem was there before but I was able to correct it by quitting FC. Now nothing I’ve tried worked: camera and MAC powering down and starting back up in different sequences, changing cables and reinstalling FC.

  The camera shows up in system profiler and in HDV/DV down convert mode but not in HDV Easy Set up. It also doesn’t show up in FCP 5 on my MAC Book Pro.

  I’m wondering if it’s a problem with my camera but I tried it on a friend’s system and it worked.

  Insight, suggestions? It’s been driving me nuts!
