FCP 5 Slow Startup
Hi – i’m having problems with a slow startup of FCP 5. It takes around 1-2 minutes to start up each time.
It didn’t do this when i first installed it.I searched on here and found this post below, but wasn’t sure what it meant – can anyone explain this, or suggest why my system takes so long to start?
System: dual G5 1.8’s. 1.5GB RAM, Latest OS, FCP 5
Cheers.

Since yesterday, FCP takes a good long time to startup. I don’t think it has anything to do with corrupt preferences as versions 4.1 and 4.5 are doing the same thing. Once they finally load they work fine. Has any one experienced this?jmf
