November 7, 2005 at 4:19 pmI may have found it – in the sequence settings in the video effects tab…ive set motion effects to best – but there doesnt seem to be that much of an improvement around the edges of a spline im moving in 3D space.
am i looking in the wrong place for this control?
thanks

found it….i guess it’s not the quantum leap i had been hoping for…looks like it’s still out to third party apps for movement etc…

November 7, 2005 at 10:03 pmRendering has become a bit more complex these days. Not only does your video processing have to set to best, you also have to have your RT pop up in Safe RT and Full Quality playback, not Dynamic. I also suggest that you check the dark green “FULL” bar and re-render the piece.
Above all, make sure that you monitor all rendered fx on a video monitor. If you are not using a video monitor in your workflow, then you will never be able to get a read on the final quality of your piece.

November 8, 2005 at 1:18 pmRemember that even when you set it to “best” this only applies to scale and position. Soon as you adjust rotation of any kind , even though it is set to “best” you will only get “normal out of it. Rotation was not included in the new rendering algorithyms. Check the knowledge base for more info. Kind of a bummer really.
