FCP 5 Render problems
Finally upgraded to FCP HD 5 (Studio)with the IO box and am having problems when I render clips with speed changes applied. The clips after rendering look like a heavy blur filter has been applied to them. Any nice crisp detail is lost. The clips actually look a lot better before I render them out. I have tried changing the processing to “Best” and “Fastest,” and of course tried the default “Normal” setting, but all settings produce the same result. I captured SDI to a 10-bit project/timeline and also tried changing the render settings (10 bit to high quality YUV, and all to high quality YUV) and still no change. I am hoping this is a beta IO driver problem and not an overall FCPHD 5 problem as the blurred render files look awful and are totally unacceptable.
