FCP 5 – 5.1 Audio
Hi All,
I have been informed that it is possible to send 5.1 sound from a DA-88 via a MOTU 2048 mk3 into FCP5 so that I end up capturing 6 channels of audio.
My question is – will FCP5 capture the audio as if it is capturing the sound off a video and see the MOTU 2048 as an external sound device?

If FCP’s Capture preset editor shows the MOTU, the answer would be yes. It would be a matter of setting up a capture preset whose device for audio is the MOTU.
