FCP 4.5 not opening LT file
When I right click on a livetype file in the timeline and chose “open in Editor,” it opens the ipr file in a new window over the viewer window, as opposed to opening it in LT (as I assigned to LT editor in system settings). This file was designed in FCP 4.1. The message to update the 4.1 project to the new FCP HD version was clicked, so I thought it would be able to operate this finished 4.1 project from a few months ago the same way in FCP HD.

This option is only available in FCP 4.5 and OS 10.3x

Actually, with 4.1, I was able to open the ipr files the way I described because I only upgraded the Livetype and Compressor apps last year..FCP HD only last month. However, I would have thought in HD, it would of course open the LT files in LT not a separate window w/in FCP. Would love to have this working again.

With the current version, LiveType files open in LiveType. When modified and saved, the updated files appears automatically in FCP. Same goes for Motion and Photoshop.
