FCP 4.5 HD w/ 2nd radeon PCI video card: stills turn canvas green and glitchy
FCP 4.5 HD. OSX 10.3, G4 single, 1 ghz. A standard Radeon 128 APG rage, plus a second Radeon RV100 PCI video card. Freelance job, clients machine. Deadline.
Under real time effects, Jpegs, Psd’s and some filters (3-way color corrector) turn the canvas window green and glitchy. Even simple jpegs don;t show up. I have re-installed FCP4.1, and the stills work like normal.
A thread search revealed nothing like this. So I system profiled for weirdness and found that he has installed a radeon PCI video card into the machine to run a second monitor. Could this cause it?

I don’t know about the Radeon card. It could be, but I have no background with that hardware.
JPEGs are notorious, however. Try converting the JPEGs to TIFFs or PSDs. Make sure they are RGB and not CMYK.
