    fcp 4.5 crashes

    FCP 4.5 locks up as I’m capturing. I have 3.0 installed and it captures fine on to an external hard drive. Do I need to re-install 4.5? How do I go about uninstalling 4.5?

    Your from the PC world, aren’t you? You don’t need to re-install it. Just trash the prefs. Harddrive>Users>YourUser>Library>Preferences>com.apple.FinalCutPro.plist

    If that dosn’t work then search the posts this has been gone over and over.
