FCP 4.5 Audio issue on G5 Laptop
Hi there wonder if anyone can help?? have a weird one going on here, I am opening up some files from a firwire drive on the laptop. When opened, they are coming in as only having 1 mono audio track. When I connect the firewire drive to my fcp V5 system on a g5, the file is showing up as correctly having 2 audio tracks.
Any ideas or information would be very much appreciated.

I take it that the clips were captured on the G5 with quciktime v7.x, correct? I also trust that your laptop is quickitme v6.x? I would upgrade your laptop to FCP5 and tiger and all the other updates and you shouldn’t see this problem.
