    Hello all,

just a quick question. I have FCP Studio 4 and was wondering if FCP 4 worked with 10.4 (Tiger)? I know that DVDSP doesn’t work, but figure I can keep a copy of my current system of an external harddrive and boot from that. I finally need to upgrade my OS and won’t be getting Studio 5 until next month when the upgrade bundle ships. I have the educational bundle of 4(I’m an educator), and just bought Motion 2 in order to get the production bundle update they will be offering. Kind of a convoluted method for updating, but with the educational discount you can’t upgrade which means forking out $699 every year or so.

Man, it’s a year of software upgrades. For me it’s been Maromedia Studio 8, Adobe CS 2, Maya 7 and Cubase 3. I also have to get my order in for AE 7. Busy year.

Thanks. That makes my life easier. I just hope my Tiger upgrade goes smoothly. Here’s crossing the fingers.

Mine went as smooth as silk! It took me longer to use Carbon Copy Cloner to back up my drive than it took to install Tiger and apply all the updates! Just be diligent in repairing permissions after every few updates, if you need them.

    Good luck to ya!!
