“unable to save under archive. [1] Should I save as archive

I don’t know what tis means.

If you no longer need them to work with then yes.

“[3] will that free up more memory on my system.”

Deleting media wil free up more space. Delete a project file will no very little. Look at your finder in item view and sort the columns based on size to see what’s taking up the most space. Or get shareware called WhatSize to see where the space is going.

“[1] Emailing videos to Clients.”

Use of the default small video settings. Most video is too large, unless the project is very short, to be transmitted by email as most ISP have limitations on transfer file sizes by email.

Hey Calvin,

You probably want to save your project files so that you can make changes to them in the future.

So a DVD or CD of the project file and any other files that you used that didn’t come from a tape that was shot on a camera.

Save the original camera tapes that you shot.

From this you will be able restore the project again if you need to in the future.

Once you’ve done this, you can delete your files from your computer. (It wouldn’t be a bad idea to restore your project first as a test.)

The key is to make sure you have what you need before you delete your footage to make space for more projects.
