    hi all!
i have a problem; once i captured from miniDV on a Mac using FCP, but i was working on an external disk, wich was formatted with FAT32 filesystem, because i had to use it on a pc too, i captured long scenes, as they were bigger than 4gb each, FCP saved the media files (.mov) splitted in several parts; example.mov was saved as example-1-av.mov, example-2-av.mov, example-3-av.mov, and so on, each file is 1,99 GB.

Now i’m not using Mac and FCP anymore(sigh) and i need to use these files on a PC, suggestions on how do i join these pieced files to get the whole original .mov? i don’t have access to Mac and FCP anymore…

    thanks in advance,
    Alessio

How can you join then into on large file, if you need to use them on a PC and the drive needs to remain formatted Fat32….thus keeping that 4GB limit?

How do PC apps deal with this limit?

I used the FAT32 removable drive only to share it between Mac and Pc, now i’ve copied the files on a ntfs hard drive!

the problem is that my Windows program (Premiere CS5), recognizes only the “example-1-av.mov”, the first piece, while on the others it doesn’t recognize the files, popping an error like “invalid header”
