    Hi Ya’ll-

I have a six minute video I’m cutting on FCP V5.0.1 and I’d like to upload it to the client’s FTP site this afternoon. I’m just using the simple DV NTSC Resolution. The quality can be merely passable since it’s just a preview but it’s important that the quicktime gets compressed quickly. Any suggestions for producing fast but satisfactory quicktime files from FCP? My instinct is to go Photo-Jpeg low quality. Thanks.

Why don’t you export to Compressor and do an MPEG4 or H.264 for higher quality (the viewer needs QT 7 for H.264).
    I think MPEG4 encodes faster.
