falling away
Posted by Mike Sullivan on July 19, 2006 at 2:38 pmIs there a way to make particles fall back from the screen as if being sucked down a black hole?

July 19, 2006 at 4:02 pmIf you want it to be sucked “straight” back….you could just change the size over life. Start at whatever your desired beginning height is.. and then over a period of 10 or so frames (less frames if you want it faster, more if you want it to be sucked in slower) add keyframes that are descending on the Size over Life graph. That should give it the “sucked in / disappearing into the background / riding off in the distance” feel. If you’re trying to do something with a ghosting effect, it may be a little tougher to do, i’m still learning this wonderful program so perhaps one of the great guys that are very experienced with pI could help you with that.
