    Fake Weather Report

    I need to create a fake weather report background, exactly like the doppler radar images you see off a storm moving over a satelite view of North America or wherever. I am going to play around with fractal noise and see what I come up with but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    There are a couple of radar-style tutorials here on the cow.
    Ancient but useful.

    Thanks, any suggestions on finding those tutorials. I always go a search before posting a question and the only thing I come up with now is my post and tutorials on how to do radar that would be used on a plane.
