Fake 3D Pie Chart
Hello,
I need to make a fake 3d pie chart using only AE.
it needs to be able to go from top view of the pie chart to a 3/4 view, or something of the sort.I thought of using CC Cylinder but since it’s hollow, I don’t know how to “close” it.
I tried using a circle but I don’t know how to make the circle rotate according to the cc cylinder.any ideas how to make it work?

While I am sure there are many ways to create a pie chart… In Illustrator or Photoshop (or even Powerpoint) and bring them into AE… I spent a few minutes just using regular AE plugins (not trapcode or BCC, for example).
Attached is a 3D version of a pie chart. This can be animated.
Take a look at the layers and adjust one setting at a time to see the changes.While this may not be your answer, but it might be able to guide you into a solution that will work for you.
