fairlight in da vinci 15.2
I am just beginning to use this for modifying the audio channel. However can you tell me where I can find the setting that would allow me to modify the gain continuously . I have to reduce very loud patches at intervals. I could not see the plug in, and do not know whether the current manual will have the necessary information.

It sounds to me that either you are describing a compressor/limiter or volume automation/keyframing.

Simon Thanks. I do not know the terminology. In vegas it was in track automation in the track header. I will start searching in those areas. Yes volume automation key framing is the answer and it worked perfectly.’
