“Failed to initialize script host”
I cannot open Vegas 8 Pro because I keep getting an error. I have googled this error to find how to fix it, but I have already installed the .NET firmware. Nothing seems to work. Help!

But did you install the 3.0 version of the .NET framework?

Yes, I have installed 1.1, 2.0, and 3.0 but Vegas is still getting an error.
