    Hi,

I’ve just started using adobe After Affects for a school project, and I’m trying to use a fade-in effect for my video. I’ve used final cut before, and you simply drop the fade in/fade out effect on to the video clip…..but how do I do this with After Effects?
I’ve tried to use block dissolve, but doesn’t seem to do what I want.

I’ve searched the forum, but haven’t had much luck. Hope someone can point me in the right direction!

Thanks for your help! At least now I’m not completely lost.

The real Dave LaRonde would have told him to look in his help guide on AE…. 😉
