Fading Titles in/out problem
Hi There
I am putting some subtitles in a project at the moment that are laid over video. When I use a transition to fade them in and out, i play the video back (after rendering) and the titles after fading in/out, drop back slightly (like the font/size/positioning has changed just a fraction).Any ideas how to overcome this, i have tried various transitions, but all have the same result. Is this an inherent problem with FCP titles?

You must monitor for quality only on a external VIDEO monitor, and not on the Canvas on the computer screen.
Does this “defect” appear on an external monitor?
If so, try trashing the FCP Preferences.Click the following link for instructions.

A great way to do this is to use “FCP Rescue” a free Apple Script that will Trash the Preferences for you (and restore nearly all of your user settings afterward).
