Fading in text does not work.
Hi there,
I’m new to after effects, and following a tutorial I’m trying to fade in a text block by key framing the opacity. I’m following every step and in the bottom left panel i can see the opacity percentage rising, but the text in the preview screen appears right away without any fade in. So there seems to be an error between the settings and the preview window. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Can you post a screenshot of the timeline?
Are the keys in the right place?
Can any other keyframes affect this layer?
