  • Fading in a menu button? Animating button opacity?

Hi there. I have a clip I created in After Effects that I rendered out and imported into Encore as a menu. I then took that menu into photoshop and added a button. In the video menu itself, the ‘play’ text does not appear/fade in until around the 3-second mark. Right now, my button is visible from the very beginning of when the menu plays. I would like it to fade in with the text in my menu. Is it possible to animate the opacity or something like that to determine when a button appears within a menu? I DO NOT want to loop my menu back to the 3-second mark, the menu must start from the beginning, with the text/button fading in simultaneously. If animating a button’s opacity is possible, please let me know how it is done. Thanks!

Not possible to animate for DVD menus. You can make a video that makes it look they’re fading in, then it put it in a timeline that jumps to the menu.

Ok, thank you. It’s good to know limitations and how to work around them.
