Fader preset?
Is there some way to preset a 20-frame fade when dragging .png slides onto the timeline? Thanks.

No, but there are scripts that can do this for you with one click. Ultimate S Pro has this ability. I’m sure Excalibur does too. It’s these little productivity enhancements that make scripts one of the most indispensable features in Vegas Pro.

Yes, the two are compatible as long as you stick with 4 cameras.

Both Ultimate S Pro and infinitiCAM have the same workflow so it doesn’t matter which one you use. I’ve never had more than 4 cameras so I use Ultimate S Pro. InfinitiCAM was really created for people doing more than 4 cameras.

Thanks John for the info. The majority of my shoots are 3 camera but I film for a dance company and for performances I prefer 6 but alas the budget gets in the way. Thanks as always for the prompt reply
