Faded Eye on Layer? ???
never seen this before.
i hav ea solid. i turn off the eyeball.
i move a layer below it to keyframe position.
i turn the eyeball back on for the solid and it is faded out. i cant see the solid. how do i fix that?Motion Graphics Artist and Non-Linear Editor

Sounds like the layer below the solid is soloed. That’s the only thing that I know of that will cause other layers eyeballs to gray out.

Felt so dumb after reading this but, yeah, waaaaay down at the bottom I had soloed a layer and forgotten about it. I think I need more coffee.
