I started a project that has 3 video tracks, and one audio.
    Track #1- Generated text media
Track #2- Solid blue generated media
    Track #3- Video
    Track #4- Audio
For some reason, when I put a 2 second Fade Offset at the end of the Video track, it doesn’t seem to do anything. Just plays to the end of the track and just stops as if no offset. Never did this before. Any ideas. I’m creating a lower third.

When you grab the top left or right corner of an event, to make it fade in, or out. I was trying to get it to slowly fade out. It has always worked, unless I have toggled something on or off by mistake

You just move to the corner until you get a quarter circle icon. then click and drag toward the center. Do you have two clips as a cut there? You might zoom in on the timeline to see if they overlap slightly. That could possibly cause it to not work.

I recently had this same problem. One minute it works, one minute the fade offset disappears. The clips were NOT overlapped. I had a solid white background and was trying to get a “flashback” look. I did it many times, then at this one spot, it quit. I moved, waited, moved etc until it finally worked. What is that about? I’d appreciate any suggestions.

I had the same problem and could not resolve it with the information above…I solved my fade problem by removing all the track effects, in my case it was the levels, studio color effect that caused the problem.
