fade in/out
I am working on a timeline in which i’ve added a widescreen filter to, and when I go to add a fade in/out it does not show it on the playback. (i’ve tried adding the fade first then adding the filter, but same thing).
BUT, for some reason, when i export it, the fade IS there. I also tried editing to tape, and in printing, it is NOT there.
Is there a solution to this?

Put a short clip of “Slug” on a video track ABOVE the highest video track you have and dissolve the Slug out or in.
That will black all video layers (and/or effects) at once.
