    Hello All,

I have AE CS5.5 and it’s basic knowledge.

I want to create fade in effect to an image from top right corner

to bottom left corner. Let me show you snapshot so you can

understand what I want to do..

In this image I have a peacock feather with transparent background

and I have a butterfly image. Now, I want to animate this feather

from top right corner to bottom left corner and butterfly must

appear after feather passes from there.

In short, I want to crate an illusion so that one can feel that

butterfly is apper after peacock feather passes from there.’

My English is poor so I am not able to explain you in proper words

but I hope you can understand what I want to do.

    Thanks in advance,

    Regards,

    Vipati

You could use the linear wipe effect [link] on the underlying butterfly image whilst animating the peacock feather above it.

For more fine-grained control, you could animate a mask [link].

    Hello Walter Soyka,

Thank you very much for your quick and better reply. This is what I want. I think linear wipe will help me.

    Thank you very much.

    Have a great life ahead…
