Is there a way in Premiere CS4 to drag a clip on top of another clip & have Premiere automatically add a fade transition (while not deleting a portion of 1 of the clips)??

I know I can drop a transition between clips and/or keyframe the opacity manually.

But I tend to use alot fade transitions & find it more precise / time efficient to be able to drag clips around in this manner (like in Vegas).

    Thanks…

Park at your edit and hit Ctrl D (PC) CMD D (Mac)

or in CS4 Select a rage of clips and choose add transition to selection from Menu.

This will add dissolves across selection.
