  • Fade in 2 line Paragraph

    Hi there!

I have a text layer with 4 paragraphs (each of 2 lines). Each paragraph is separated by a carriage return. Is there a way I can fade up each paragraph separately (and also ensure the return isn’t seen as another text line) without having to manually prepare them on separate layers? The fade in lines animation will only recognise separate lines.

    Many thanks for your help.

You can do it with the text animator, you just have to keyframe the end point at the times you want the paragraphs to fade up. An even faster way would be to just rectangle mask each paragraph and keyframe the mask opacity.

    Thanks Erik,

    I’ll give these a try.
