    Hey all

I have a pure white sky (as my background) but dark floorboards (as my floor) I would like the floorboards to fade to white at the horizon, therefore, creating a seamless join with the bg. Is this possible and how would I do it.

    Many thanks

I would do it with two materials. The first material is the one you already have. The second one has just the luminance and alpha channels active. Luminance is set to white and the alpha contains a gradient set to Type: 2D-V.

Click the second material’s texture tag, set the projection to camera mapping and drag and drop your render camera into the camera link box.

On second thought, you could set the second material’s projection to “frontal” and cut out a step.
