Awww, c’mon Dave, forums are so 90’s. They’re like World Wide Web stuff. 😛
    Social networking is SO now.

I think that forums like the COW are great for asking questions and getting answers. Facebook is quite poor for that sort of interaction.

Facebook is a decent platform for the more “social” and less practical aspects of communication.

The main purpose of the facebook Users Group is so people can get nice AE news items, tips, and such in their facebook feeds. It’s not meant to replace more involved, industry-specific websites. It’s just a place where people who check facebook as their one news-feed type source of the day can get some AE content. 🙂

Roland, whatever you tried to do doesn’t work. I just hit facebook’s homepage.

Thanks Michael. Freaken Facebook! Two Fs don’t make it right – I know. But it’s quite a chaotic site with an engine that seems to have a mind of its own, occasionally. However, it’s a good place for anything not too serious.

Just search for “Rork Plays Guitar”. See you there soon.

    Cheers
