    Will a 900R be able to read a scene file set for a F900/3, or is there a conversion program like Panasonic has to convert Varicam “F” model scene files to “H” model files.

    No. One firmware was written in Japan (900/3) and one was written somewhere in europe (900R). We are not happy about this.
