Hey everyone, I recently purchased one of those really thin mac keyboards and noticed that the F1-F12 keys have the controls for iTunes, dashboard, etc…

While working in After Effects I went to highlight keyframes and easy ease them with F9. However, it changed the track on my iTunes playlist instead. Is there a way around this besides shutting down iTunes???? I’d hate to have to close iTunes if I want to simply click the F9 key for easing. Just curious. Thanks.

i don’t have one of the new-fangled mac keyboards, but have you tried going into system preferences > keyboard & mouse > keyboard shortcuts, and then re-programmed what F9 does?

Just go to preferences > Keyboard & Mouse > Click the box Use all F1, F2, etc. keys as standard function keys.
