Just tried changing that folder structure. Media is still visable. Odd behavior you’re seeing.

What’s in the folder labelled “2”? Doesn’t look like that’s actually open in the browser.

You mean “Old Ben”? Ben Kenobi?

Ok, everything is fine. I just had to uninstall and reinstall Resolve. Now I can playback 4K footage at half res in Resolve on my iMac with 3 nodes in realtime (24fps). NIce. In full res I get black images…working on it.

The ability to rasterize full res seems to be related to the amount of ram in the gpu. That is pretty incredible for an iMac.

The ATI OpenCL GPUs in general do not have enough GPU RAM for anything more than HD source images. We recommend CUDA cards for high performance and high resolution support.

I believe that after seeing how well the F65 shoot and how well it’s raw works, and that it’s backed by a large company that it will become the adopted camera of choice for a great many productions. It’s technology is better that RED HDR in my opinion and much easier to work with.

    Hi All,

Just wondered if any of you guys have encountered a problem with noise when viewing the F65 footage in Da Vinci (or the sony RAW F65 viewer).

The noise is still evident in a rendered out DPX sequence or 1080p ProRes 422 (HQ) file. So it does seem to be something inherent in the way the source file is interrupted rather than a display issue. I’ve had the same problem with our own footage and Sony supplied footage.

In the F65 tab in Da Vinci I selected use camera Meta data (800 ISO) and full res.

I’ve tried several different Macs, graphics cards and snow leopard and Lion.

    Here’s a link to a screenshot

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
